Additional Services

Timing Belts

Timing belts are changed according to manufacturer specifications, relative to mileage or age. Timing belts are also checked for abnormal noises during your servicing.

Timing belts must be replaced at the correct interval, or if abnormal noises are detected. Failure to do so may result in engine failure.

Tyre & Exhausts

When servicing your vehicle, we inspect it thoroughly and report whether you require new tyres or repairs to your exhaust system.

We provide a complementary price check and advise if we can provide this additional service for you, recommending an alternative option where necessary.

Steering & Tracking

Worn steering parts cause abnormal tyre wear and may affect the drivability of your vehicle.

We can change or replace steering components required to ensure your safety, and realign the steering to correct abnormal tyre wear.

Suspension

The purpose of your vehicle's suspension is to maximise the friction between tyres and road surface.

  • It provides steering stability and good handling
  • It ensures ride comfort of driver and passengers

During your service, we inspect and assess the vehicle and report if any repairs are required to shock absorbers or the suspension, replacing parts where requested.

Diagnostics

All modern cars have several onboard computers, including those for engine management, ABS and air bags. When a fault occurs in any of these systems, a warning light illuminates on the dash board.

We use the latest advanced diagnostic equipment to assist us to locate – and rectify – any such faults that appear. And we reset indicators after service for your piece of mind.

Clutches

Clutches are wear-and-tear items that are replaced for the following reasons:

  • Normal wear-and-tear, where the clutch has worn out and slips
  • It becomes hard to select gears
  • Noisy release bearings – noises when you are applying the clutch
  • Juddering – normally caused when oil leaks onto the lining of the clutch

... and to go that extra mile ...

Quality Servicing

Having your vehicle regularly serviced and maintained is an essential part of vehicle ownership

Regardless of the age, make or model of your vehicle, a professional service – undertaken by highly skilled technicians – will not only ensure your vehicle is working efficiently and safely, but also maintain its future re-sale value.

It also highlights any potential issues before they develop into more serious – and possibly costly – problems.

In addition to traditional garage opening hours we also provide late evening servicing and Saturday servicing by appointment. In total, we offer over 56 hours of service per week.
